How You Can Help
Let your fellow Calavera residents know they are not alone in how they feel about the loss of the beautiful knoll, grove, and trail where we've gathered for decades. Together, we can save Village H!
"There is nothing like a small group of
concerned citizens to change the world.
Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
— Margaret Mead

Tell five (or more) friends and neighbors!
This is easy, costs nothing, takes little time, but has a tremendous value. Simply tell five people (or as many as you can) about the pending destruction of the Village H meadow and trail area. |

Post flyers
Download our flyer here (PDF format) to print and post around your neighborhood — on telephone poles, mailboxes, bulletin boards, and anywhere that's legal and visible. It includes little tear-offs at the bottom so people can take the SaveVillageH.com address with them. |

Walk your neighborhood
Going door to door is one of the best ways to get the word out. Great exercise and a great way to meet your neighbors. Just grab a friend and go! |

Write a letter to the newspapers
The City doesn't like the publicity … the newspaper editors and reporters see how important this topic is (and thus cover it more) … and the public learns about our efforts. It's a perfect way to spread the word. Just click to our "Letters to the Editor" page to let them know how you feel about Village H. |

Tell the Mayor and City Council how you feel
While this may seem futile given the circumstances, there will still be more action by the City before development occurs. It's never too late to let them know your thoughts, feelings, and anger.
Click here to send them an email to Council@CarlsbadCA.gov.
Mail a letter to Carlsbad Mayor and Council Members, 1200 Carlsbad Village Drive,
Carlsbad, CA 92008.
Call them at (760) 434-2830.
(Emails and letters are best because they become public record.) |
